Version 9.0 (AppSource Version 1007)

BI for Intune version 9.0, shown as 1007 in AppSource, was released on October 17, 2022. This release brings major enhancements in reporting on Windows Updates deployments utilizing the new Windows Updates for Business reports (formerly named Update Compliance v2). For more information on Windows Updates for Business reports see this announcement by Microsoft. Below are the changes in version 9.0:

 

  • New Features:
    • Added the ability to report on data from Windows Updates for Business reports (Formerly named Azure Update Compliance v2). For more information on Windows Updates for Business reports see the announcement by Microsoft. (Note: When using the PowerStacks custom inventory solution the Windows Updates for Business reports must use the same Log Analytics workspace as the custom inventory solution.)
    • New UC Quality Updates page reports Quality Updates data from Windows Updates for Business reports.
    • New UC Feature Updates page reports Feature Updates data Updates data from Windows Updates for Business reports.
  • Enhancements:
    • The Windows Updates page was redesigned to show the deployment status of Update Ring profiles.
    • Added new fields “In Groups” to the Device and the User categories. (Note: By default, we only loaded dynamic memberships, therefore, by default, these fields will only check membership for dynamic groups.)
    • Added new fields to the “iOS/iPad Update” category:
      • Last Status Update
      • Last Status Update (Days)
    • Added  Device Compliance Settings definitions for:
      • AndroidDeviceOwnerCompliancePolicy.MinAndroidSecurityPatchLevel
      • AndroidDeviceOwnerCompliancePolicy.SecurityRequireIntuneAppIntegrity
    • Added new fields to the “Device Info” page:
