What's New in BI for Defender v10

Version 10 is a small maintenace release to fix some minor bugs that affected a limited number of customers and to add minor new feature requested by a customer. 

Important Notes:
If you missed version 8.0, please review the critical change related to vulnerabilities and security update filtering.  And as always—before upgrading, back up your custom reports to prevent data loss.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that was causing sync timeouts. The Cloud App APIs are not scalable which can cause timeout issues, we implemented a system to select which cloud apps to load using tagging.
  • Fixed a bug on the “Cloud App” page the “Device Type” was blank in v11.

Semantic Model Changes

  • Added new parameters to the semantic model:
    • “AzureAD Cloud App Tags Only“
      • Default: True
      • If True only Cloud App with tags defined in “AzureAD Cloud App Tags” will be loaded with “Cloud App Details“.
    • “Cloud App Logon URL“
    • “Cloud App Data Type“
    • “Cloud App Entity” (Users & IPs)
    • “AzureAD Cloud App Tags“
      • List of tags to load separated by a comma “,“
      • Note: The API to list the devices associated to Cloud App is not yet available in MS Graph.
  • New fields added to the “Cloud App” object:
    • “Cloud App Device Count“
    • “Cloud App IP Address Count“
    • “Cloud App Transaction Count“
  • Renamed “Download (MB)” to “Cloud App Download (MB)“
  • Renamed “Upload (MB)” to “Cloud App Upload (MB)“
