Official Rules
Sponsor. This giveaway is sponsored and run solely by PowerStacks. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with MMS, the MMS Midway Edition conference, or its organizers. The MMS logo is used with permission.
Eligibility. Open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 or older at the time of entry. U.S. government employees are not eligible. Employees of PowerStacks and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Entry period. The giveaway runs for 30 days and closes at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on July 31, 2026. Limit one entry per person.
Your entry must be your own work. All entries must be written by you, in your own words. Any entry that appears to have been written or edited by AI will not be considered and may be disqualified at PowerStacks' sole discretion.
Winner selection. One winner will be selected by PowerStacks at its sole discretion, based on the story submitted with the entry. If PowerStacks cannot decide between top entries, the winner may be chosen by random drawing among them. PowerStacks' decision is final.
Prize. One full conference pass to MMS Midway Edition (San Diego, October 2026), including the hotel stay provided with the pass. Airfare, ground transportation, meals not covered by the conference, and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. The prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be substituted except at the discretion of PowerStacks. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
Notification and announcement. The winner will be notified by email from a powerstacks.com address and will be announced publicly on the PowerStacks account on X (Twitter). If the winner cannot be reached or does not respond within a reasonable time, PowerStacks may select an alternate winner.
Publicity consent. By entering, you agree that if you win, PowerStacks may publicly post your name, social media handle, and entry for promotional purposes without further notice, compensation, or approval.
Event changes. PowerStacks is not responsible if the conference is cancelled, postponed, or changed for any reason. If the event does not take place, the prize may be void with no substitution or cash equivalent.
General. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of PowerStacks, which are final and binding in all matters.
